CarSwap is a matching board for the Tecate crossing. A participating driver already in line swaps out, you swap in with your own car, and the line stays exactly as long as it was. You pay the driver directly, in cash, in person — CarSwap never touches any money.

Reserve a Spot
Reserve that car's spot with your name and phone number. No payment happens on this site.
Swap In, Cash In Hand
Drive to that car, show the driver your reservation code, pay them in cash, and swap places in line.
Cars are added and updated by drivers and CarSwap staff throughout the day. Availability depends on who is currently in line.
One Car Leaves the Line. Another Takes Its Place.
The total number of cars in line never changes — a spot-swap just moves who's standing in it. CarSwap is a matching and reservation board only. It is not a way to avoid or evade any authority, and the crossing rules still apply to everyone.

Cash, In Person
All money changes hands directly between you and the driver, in person, after you find their car. CarSwap has no wallet, deposit, or checkout of any kind.
Reservations Expire
A reservation holds a spot for a limited window so a car isn't locked up forever. If it lapses, the car goes back on the board for someone else.
Approximate Positions
The board shows roughly how far a car is from the booth so you can pick the closest one — not a precise, real-time trace of anyone's exact location.
